Bill Barker as Thomas Jefferson:

Bill combines his love of theatre with his interest in history to develop his interpretation of Jefferson. Bill received his bachelor’s degree in history from Villanova University. Attracted to the stage at an early age, he soon became a professional actor, performing arts administrator, and theatre director. He has portrayed Jefferson for Poplar Forest and other prestigious sites, including the White House, Mount Vernon, and the Palace of Versailles. Currently, Bill portrays Jefferson for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.

Steve Perlman as John Adams:

Steve is a life long history enthusiast.  He received his master’s degree in American history from Temple University.  He began portraying Adams four years ago and has performed for audiences at the Smithsonian Institution and Colonial Williamsburg.  Steve and Bill have performed together throughout the United States, often discussing the Election of 1800.  Steve is employed as a park ranger for Independence National Park in Philadelphia.

Ken Srpan, Master of Ceremonies

Ken is an avid Jefferson enthusiast in Roanoke where he is communications director for Friendship Manor.  Ken has been a news anchor in Richmond and Roanoke and hosted “Now and Then” on Blue Ridge Public Television for many years.
