Bill Barker as Thomas Jefferson:
Bill currently portrays Jefferson for the Colonial Williamsburg
Foundation. He is the same height, weight, and general appearance as the
man who has so long interested him. His ancestors were closely associated
with the world Jefferson knew and he has enjoyed researching those times.
Bill
received a bachelor’s degree in history from Villanova University.
He has portrayed Jefferson for Poplar Forest, the White House, and the Palace of
Versailles, as well as numerous schools and festivals. Bill enjoys
traveling, historical research, and archaeology.
Mark Schneider as Marquis de
Lafayette:
Mark was born and raised in the small town of Setauket, New York on Long
Island. After moving to Virginia, Mark attended Christopher Newport
University where he received a bachelor's degree in history and later entered
the Army. Upon completion of his military service, Mark began working for
the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. In addition to Lafayette, he has
portrayed Banastre Tarleton, Napoleon Bonaparte, and other historical
figures. Mark often travels to France to visit his family, historic sites
and museums.
Jeff Taylor as Master of Ceremonies
Jeff is Director of Public Relations and Web Services at Virginia's 13
WSET.
He has held several positions with WSET, including news anchor, managing editor
and executive producer. Jeff is involved in re-enacting life and
transportation on the James River during the 17th and 18 centuries.
