Learning Opportunities
There are many ways to participate in the restoration work taking place at Poplar Forest. The Restoration Department offers an annual summer field school in architectural restoration for professionals, undergraduate students, graduate students, and other interested individuals. Internships are also available on a case-by-case basis to undergraduate and graduate-level students interested in working alongside Poplar Forest architectural historians and craftsmen. In addition, volunteer opportunities are available for interested members of the public to help the restoration staff year round.
