Give today to plant a beautiful future at Poplar Forest

A New Path to Jefferson

raised of $5,000.00 goal

With a new parkway poised to make Poplar Forest more visible and accessible to visitors, now is the perfect time to beautify our grounds, guided by Jefferson’s original vision for his landscape.

This new planting effort will enhance the current landscape and replace what’s lost during road construction. Sweeps of flowering trees and large shade trees will line the road, with a triple row of tulip poplars to greet visitors at the Enterprise Drive entrance. Native plants, both ornamental and practical, will enhance the roads, parking areas, Museum Shop and other visitor spaces. In addition, tree planting will help screen views of the adjacent golf course, keeping our visitors’ perspectives firmly in the Jeffersonian era.

Your support will help fund the purchase of trees and shrubs to make Poplar Forest more beautiful. Please take a moment to make your gift today.
