Legacy Giving

Create A Legacy

The Thomas Jefferson Circle

The Thomas Jefferson Circle was established to recognize donors who have expressed commitment to the Corporation for Jefferson’s Poplar Forest by including Poplar Forest in their estate plans. Legacy gifts sustain our mission and provide future financial support to this cherished historic landmark. If you have already included Poplar Forest in your will or trust, please let us know. We would love to thank you for your generosity, as well as designate you as a member of the Thomas Jefferson Circle and grant access to the following benefits:

  • A Thomas Jefferson Circle lapel pin
  • 10% discount on Poplar Forest event admissions
  • 10% discount on Poplar Forest Museum Shop purchases
  • Recognition in the spring volume of Notes on the State of Poplar Forest
  • Advanced notice of opportunities to be a part of Poplar Forest trips
  • An invitation to President’s Council Retreat Weekend featuring a seated dinner in the historic house hosted by Thomas Jefferson, behind-the-scenes tours and complimentary tickets to Conversations with Thomas Jefferson
