Our tasting tours return with a focus on the beverages and spirits consumed at Poplar Forest during the autumn months!

Guided tours begin in Thomas Jefferson’s kitchen and progress through the octagonal house with stops to sample different beverages and share insights into the types of foods consumed by Jefferson and the enslaved residents of Poplar Forest.

Tour participants must show ID at the door. Visitors under the age of 21 are welcome; non-alcoholic beverages will be available on the tour. Tickets are $25 and are available for purchase online or by calling the Museum Shop at 434.534.8120.
